Self Love with Sacred Rituals - Taurus Full Moon Insights and Ritual

Tonight's Full Moon is in Taurus, a sensual sign which favours home comforts, beauty and love.  Exact at 3:48am tomorrow morning (Sydney, Australia time), this month's full moon energy favours working on appreciating beauty, self care and the pleasures of life.  Taurus is ruled by the goddess Venus who rules the heart, beauty, our emotions and manifestation.  Taurus also reminds us to look at our own self worth and feelings of security.  It is the perfect time to spend quality time with those you love, nurturing your relationships as well as making time for yourself to celebrate YOU!  It is also timely to beautify your home space.  Scatter beautiful cushions, adorn your walls with inspiring artwork, buy fresh flowers and burn oils or incense to create a truly gorgeous home.  

Simple Full Moon Ritual

Dedicate some time over the next three days to Sacred Self Care and celebrating your own beauty and inner radiance.  

Make a natural beautifying face mask out of mashed avocado and papaya. Avocado is rich in natural oils and papaya naturally contains enzymes which help to digest dead skin cells, leaving your skin smooth and supple.  You might like to combine this mixture with a little organic honey or natural yogurt to help bind the ingredients and increase the moisturising properties, or try coconut yogurt for a vegan alternative.  Apply to clean skin, leaving on for 10 minutes.  

Run yourself a healing bath (or foot bath) adding 2 drops of grounding Patchouli or Vetiver, 2 drops of uplifting Sweet Orange and one drop of sensual Ylang Ylang with half a cup of sea salt or epsom salts.  Try sprinkling in some fresh rose petals and light candles to create a truly luxurious and sensual experience.  Sink into your bath and focus on what you want to manifest in your life, whether it be creating an inspiring and beautiful home, nurturing wonderfully fulfilling relationships or making time to bring more sacred self care into each and every day.

  • List three things you love about yourself
  • List three things you are grateful for in your life
  • List three things you are ready to release (limiting self beliefs, bad habits, commitments that don't resonate, a situation or even physical clutter) in order to make space in your life for more of the good stuff.  

Take a few moment to connect inwards, visualise your heart space opening like a blossoming rose and send yourself some deep, unconditional love. You are beautiful, inside and out...

Don't forget to place your crystals out under the moon to be cleansed and charged.
